FOCUS ON GIRLS Series 3 - Recommences this Friday 8 August

Focus on Girls is a group training session specifically for girls. Current membership includes both experienced and developing orienteers. The sessions are built around fun focused orienteering sessions with friends. Series 1 & 2 the training group was around 12 to 15 girls from various primary and high schools around Canberra. The aim is to have loads of fun but to learn and practice lots about the adventurous challenges that orienteering offers.

The FOG session are offered as an adjunct to the Blue Lightning Squad training sessions which occur every Saturday at 9.30am before the Saturday event.

If Fridays don't suit all, an additional FOG session early next week will be held as well. So for any keen 10-16 year old girls interested but cant make this Friday, email todavid@webone.com.au with preferred day. Those that can make Friday, RSVP too please.

Where: Remembrance Park straight after school.
This Fridays Focus: Comic orienteering! Yes you must bring a comic and be prepared to read it!!
Also bring warm clothes (layers is best), a snack, water bottle and a compass if you have one. We will wrap up by 5pm.

The aim is to get at least 3 FOG sessions in before ACT Long Distance Champs on Sunday 24 August.
